Memorial Day Activities

 

School Program

 

The Shaftsbury Veterans Committee and Shaftsbury Elementary School will be holding a “Memorial Day” program on Thursday May 22^nd, 2008 at 1:30 PM in the Elementary School Gymnasium.  The guest speaker will be Troia Burgess, a veteran of the Persian Gulf War.  All veterans are welcomed to attend. 

 

Norshaft Memorial Day Parade

          The Shaftsbury Veterans Committee will be hosting the Norshaft Memorial Day Parade in Shaftsbury

          on Monday May 26th, 2008 at 9:00 AM. A brief ceremony at Cole Hall in front of the Honor Roll.

          The parade route is as follows: Buck Hill Road, cross Route 7A down Church Street, the down

          Cleveland Avenue to Route 7A back to Buck Hill Road. Refreshments will be provided by the

          Shaftsbury Fire Department Auxiliary.
