Shaftsbury is nestled in the southwest corner of Vermont bordering Bennington and New York State.  It is approximately a one hour drive from Albany NY and Pittsfield MA; four hours from Boston and NYC and 45 minutes to many ski resorts.   Enjoy leisurely drives over dirt roads, peaceful hikes throughout our beautiful mountainsides, quiet lakes, bicycling, fall foliage, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and take a moment to discover our rich history.
