Town of Shaftsbury Transfer Station Fees

 

The Selectboard has approved the following fees at the Town’s Solid Waste Facility (Transfer Station):

• Access permits are $20.00. Beginning July 1, 2009, your vehicle must display the access sticker for 2009-2010.

• A fee of $5.00 per cubic yard is charged for brush.  The fee schedule is as follows:

  • Large bag of yard trimmings, No charge.
  • Pick-up truck, 2 cu. yards, $10.00.
  • One-ton truck, 4 cu. yards, $20.00.

  These fees are due to a quadrupling of the cost of tub-grinding brush.
