NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the Town of Shaftsbury’s meeting schedule for boards, commissions and committees for the year March 2009 – March 2010:

Board of Abatement  ...............................................	meets as needed
Board of Civil Authority  ..........................................	meets as needed
Cemetery Committee  ..............................................	meets as needed
Development Review Board  ....................................	First and Third Wednesdays of each month, 7:00 PM
Economic Development Committee  .........................	Third Thursdays of each month, 8:00 AM *
Environmental Issues Committee  .............................	meets as needed
Facilities Committee  ................................................	meets as needed
Planning Commission  ..............................................	Second and Fourth Tuesdays of each month, 7:00 PM
Recreation Committee  ...............................................	Second and Fourth Thursdays of each month, 6:30 PM
Selectboard  ............................................................	First and Third Mondays of each month, 7:00 PM
Sidewalk Committee  ................................................	meets as needed
Veterans Committee  ................................................	meets as needed
Water Board  ...........................................................	Quarterly, First Monday of January, April, July & October, 6:00 PM

 

Unless otherwise warned, meetings are held upstairs in Cole Hall, Shaftsbury’s Town Office at 61 Buck Hill Road, at the times and dates posted. 

*The Economic Development Committee meets regularly at Whitman’s Feedstore on Route 67 in North Bennington.

All meetings are open to the public and your presence is appreciated.  Since meetings may be canceled without public notice; it is advisable to call the town office (442-4043) during the day to find out the status of the meeting.
