Should we change the Transfer Station Hours of Operation?
The Shaftsbury Transfer Station is currently open on Tuesday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Thursday from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We recently received a complaint that these hours are inconvenient for families where both husband and wife work full time.
TAM, the company that manages our Transfer Station, has indicated that they would be able to change the Tuesday hours to 7:00 AM - 12:00 Noon without affecting our costs. Since this might make it easier for some to use the Transfer Station (but might possibly inconvenience others), we are running the following survey to see if residents would like us to make this change.
