Appointment Notice

The Selectboard is currently looking for citizens interested in serving their community.  The following positions are up for appointment:

Ancient Roads Committee, Cemetery Committee, Development Review Board, Economic Development Committee, Energy Coordinator, Facilities Committee, Fence Viewers, Health Officer, Inspector of Lumber, Shingles and Wood, Listers, Planning Commission, Policies and Procedures Review Committee, Recreation Committee, Selectboard, Sidewalk Committee, Solid Waste Committee, Town Service Officer, Tree Warden, Trustees of Public Funds, Weigher-of-Coal, Veterans Committee and Work Camp Committee.

If you are interested in serving or would like more information on any of the above positions, please contact the Town Administrators Office at 442-4043 or go to the website: www.shaftsbury.net.  Please write a letter of interest by Friday April 4^th, 2008 at 4:00 PM.  The Selectboard will begin the appointment process at their April 7^th, 2008 board meeting.
