Annual Town Meeting
Election 2008
On Monday March 3rd, 2008 at the Shaftsbury Elementary School 113 registered voters attended our Annual Town Meeting at 7:30 P.M. All floor articles passed overwhelmingly including the budget.
On Tuesday March 4th, 2008 the polls were open from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Charles and Marion Becker Fire Facility on Buck Hill Road. According to Judy Stratton, Town Clerk, 1,430 registered voters voted during this election which is over 54 percent of all Shaftsbury registered voters in town.
